Spooky greetings, crafty friends, and happy Monday to you all! I am so excited to be starting out the week with a Halloween project tutorial over on the Ranger Ink blog for this set of silly sweet trick or treat goody bag tags.
I’ve mentioned here before my love of candy corn, and I always get a chuckle from the mixed reviews on the confections…. cause seriously, you either love them or you hate them, with very little in between. But to me, candy corn is super yummy and such an iconic fall treat, and also was the inspiration for my tag set today.
These cute tags were made with the new Stacked Tags die set from Tim Holtz/Sizzix (coming soon), along with the fall-released Frightening Faces set and lots of candy corn-colored Distress inks. I made a double layer of tags, die cutting a variety of faces from the layer on top, while the bottom layer was inked in an hombre shading of bright yellow to orange. You may have noticed that I keep returning to this Frightening Faces die set. I really do think that it’s ended up being my favorite set from the Halloween release, as there is just so much you can do with it. If you’re looking for a few other project ideas using this set, check out this post (here) and this one (here).
As always, I’ll have the full step-by-step project tutorial up on the Ranger Ink blog, if you’d like to learn more. And I’ll link you to all of the supplies below.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
