My Creative Time 43rd Edition Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time 43rd Edition Release Blog Hop! Today is a happy day, because finally it is release day for all of the wonderful products you’ve been seeing in the sneak peeks throughout this past week. And to celebrate, we are taking one more look at the new stamps and dies from this month’s special birthday release. I am so excited to have had the opportunity to play along this week, and in honor of this absolutely adorable birthday-themed release, I have one last birthday card to share with you. This is the super cute Light the Candles stamp set and matching dies.

There are sooooo many cute sentiments in this set. It was too hard to chose, so I decided to stack a couple of my favorites to create one long, extended greeting. And then I filled in the background with some XOXO’s for a little extra detail. Love how it ends up looking like my own custom patterned paper.

For my cupcake, I used a combination of stamps and dies from the Light the Candles set, and did a bit of water-coloring and paper piecing, both. I chose colors, of course, from the papers, and pulled in a bit of the gingham from the background for my cupcake frosting. So silly, but so completely sweet!
