I was excited to see that my friend, Laurel, is now offering weekly sketches on her blog. I love me a good sketch, and was very happy to find the time to play along with this week’s Sketchy Saturday sketch.
I had a cute little fox leftover from my guest project on Laurel’s fun Inspired By challenge blog a couple of weeks ago, so decided to use him on my card today. Both the fox and the sentiment are from the Fall Friends set by My Creative Time. I colored the fox with Zig markers.
As a nod to Laurel’s fabulous signature style, I broke out my sewing machine and added some wonky stitching to my card. And for another favorite technique that I haven’t done in awhile, I fussy cut the flowers from a sheet of patterned paper. The paper is Photoplay Paper’s beautiful Thinking of You collection.
And here is this week’s Sketchy Saturday sketch:
Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you all a wonderful day!
