My Creative Time 46th Edition Release Week- Prehistoric Holidays

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday! It’s sneak peek week over at My Creative Time for their 46th Edition Release, and I am excited to be joining in on the fun with a special guest designer project. Today is day four of the peeks, and Emma is showcasing one last new stamp and die set called Prehistoric Holidays.

This adorable set is so much fun to play with, and I love how versatile it is. Not only does the set come with this sweet little dinosaur and palm tree you see here, there are also lots of accessories that you can add to dino to dress him up for the upcoming holiday season. And of course there are a great mix of sentiments to help with that, too.

I decided to make an all-purpose card today with a fun watercolor beach scene that would work perfectly for all sorts of occasions. Wouldn’t this be cute for a birthday card, or perhaps for your child’s first day of school this year? What I love most is that by adding a few accessories, you can change up this same design to become a Halloween, a Christmas, or even a New Year’s card. Now how cool is that?

The background scene and outer framework have been die cut with the new Stitched Squares Inside & Out die set we showcased earlier this week, and here you can really see the great stitched detailing that goes around both the inside and the outside of each square. I popped the frame up on foam tape for a bit of dimension. Dino was water-colored also, and die cut with the matching die from the set. I added clear Wink of Stella for a bit of shine, and Glossy Accents to his spots for a final touch.
