Hi everyone! Happy, happy Saturday to you! I am such a happy camper right now. A couple extra hours of sleep, no alarm clock jarring you awake, and a leisurely cup of coffee= one happy girl. I wish every day could be a weekend day!
Last night, the official fall-activity schedule kicked off in our neck of the woods with a Fall Open House at one of my favorite local shops, the Rusty Bucket. I look forward to this every year, being the serious Halloween-lover that I am. I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Of course I brought my camera along, so I could share it all with you. ‘Cause I know you all love Halloween as much as I do, right? Snicker, snort!
The Rusty Bucket is known for their early-Americana, county-style primitives. They fill their shop with antiques found on old farmsteads and one-of-a-kind, handcrafted items from local artists. There’s always something unique and special, every time I visit.
Such a fun, happy place! Charming on the inside, and welcoming on the outside, for those who’d like to just sit a spell.
Thanks so much for visiting with me! I’m off now on another of my favorite adventures, a day of antiquing. Hope your weekend is filled with wonderful adventures, too.
Such FUN Halloween goodies!!! TFS those pics!!!
Love me some Rusty Bucket … have to pop on over there — perhaps this evening before our dinner and a movie night! Cute pics — thanks for sharing!
You lucky gal … a day of antiquing!! Are you going to Liberty next weekend??

This looks like fun Audrey! And we do have a shop that looks very similar around my own neck of the woods… and I’ve been itching to go soon! They have a bakery too! Fresh cider donuts, fresh from the oven… I can smell them already, just THINKING about it! The kids and I are thinking about apple picking too, and I’ve heard this year was a good year for apples! I hope so!… Love all you photos, and hope you and yours have a great weekend!
Great fun post…love all the photos..I too love Fall and Halloween and we have a Rusty Corner somewhat similar and had a wonderful shopping trip there. Got me incentive to redecorate. Have a great weekend.

I really enjoyed this visit to the Rusty Bucket! Thanks for taking us along. Did you bring home anything from this trip? I just finished putting up a few fall decorations outside today (not Halloween but things that work through Thanksgiving). Was so ready for a change! I hope you took your camera antiquing with you today so we can share in that trip, too. I know you’ll have a wonderful day!

Hi love your items! I wanted to know if the primitive square pumpkins is a pattern or your own design? I would love to make these. Thanks, Susan
Hi, Susan! Thanks so much for visiting and for your sweet comment! Those adorable pumpkins have been super popular, and I wish I could take credit for them…. but those little cuties were handmade by a local artist and were available for sale in a shop here in town several years ago. So no pattern, sorry!
