Happy Monday, Sweet Friends!
And for those of you lucky enough to be in the pathway,
Happy Solar Eclipse day!

This past week I had the great fun of joining along with the My Creative Time August release, so I didn’t get the chance to mention what a big week it was for us here at my house, with school starting up again for both my kiddos. Pete is finishing up his last semester at university, but for my daughter, there are lots of changes and nerves underway as she starts her first year away at college.

I knew move-in day would be tough on the both of us, so I wanted to cheer her up with a little care package and surprise. Just a little something to let her know I was thinking of her, and wishing her well. Sneaky mom hid these cuties on her desk when she wasn’t looking, to find and open after we were gone.

Nik is majoring in life sciences, so I knew this adorable Real Genius collection by Photo Play Paper would be right up her alley. Perfect for a pun-loving girl, like her. And even though she’s all grown up, I knew she would enjoy a little encouragement from mom.

Autumn Wishes for You

Hello, hello! Happy Wednesday!

I’m on the countdown, my friends. Just one more day until the grand opening of my new Fall Shop! And I know you know how excited I am! Tomorrow’s opening marks my one-year anniversary at AudOnes Prims, and kicks off the start of my very favorite season of all. So I have much to celebrate! And I owe all of you a huge thank you, too!

I’ve been quietly working on my shop goodies for the past couple of months, so I’m pretty much ready to go. But of course there are always lots of last minute things to do. There’s photos to edit, and a shop page to update, and a few final tags to create, like these little foxy friends.

I am a huge fan of Emma’s adorable fall stamps and dies over at My Creative Time, and pulled out one of my favorite older sets for these. This is the sweet Fall Friends set, paired with a woodsy plaid print and a touch of natural kraft, for a warm autumn look.

Teacher Treats with Photo Play Paper

Happy Friday, Friends!

Today I have an end-of-year teacher appreciation gift to share that I made for Photo Play Paper using their adorable Real Genius collection.

These sweet little containers are treat pockets, and I love them because they can hold a ton of goodies. Not only are there pockets on both sides that can fit gift cards, notes, tea bags, or candy, you can also attach a cello bag filled with treats or baked goods in between the two pockets, as well.

I dressed up the front of each pocket with school-themed labels. A printed journaling card fits in the front, and is a great spot for you or your child to write a little heartfelt note.

I filled the back pockets with tea bags and gift cards.

And attached cookies to the inside.

Teachers really do work hard all year, and they deserve a special treat that packs a lot of punch, like these multi-pocket pouches. And best thing is, they are super quick and easy to create, too.
