Merry and Bright with Authentique

Hello Friends, happy Monday to you! We’re on the countdown in our house now. Only five more days until Christmas vacation. My boy is home for the holidays, and my parents will be arriving from California later this week, too.  So lots of happy excitement coming in the days ahead.

Today I have a holiday gift tag to share with you that I made for the Authentique blog featuring their beautiful Believe collection, and another holiday favorite of mine, Tim Holtz’s Tattered Poinsettia die.

Don’t know if you all have noticed, but I’ve been quite smitten with the Believe collection. It is, by far, my most favorite holiday collection this year. Love the prints and traditional color palette, mixed with pops of blue. This tag was die cut using Tim Holtz’s Tag and Bookplates die from 6×6 Bundle paper. I added a bit of lace trim and a pretty Authentic Life journaling card, accented with a few Diction word stickers, and of course that fabulous poinsettia.

I die cut the poinsettia from 6×6 Bundle paper, too, then inked each piece with Distress ink. Love how deep and rich the color looks, yet you can still see the prints of the paper shining through.

I added a Details hinge sticker to the top of the tag, and set it with some old, trusty eyelets. Bonus points for breaking out some supplies from the crypt. And scattered the tiny circle stickers leftover from the holes on the hinge around the rest of the tag. Giving myself some extra points for using every last little bit. 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you all a wonderful day!
