Love Notes Tags with Therm O Web

Happy Wednesday, crafty friends! I have more Valentine fun to share with you today. This time, a pair of love note tags that I made recently for the Therm O Web blog.

These tags once again feature the adorable Love Letters collection by PhotoPlay Paper that I shared yesterday. The tag die is also from PhotoPlay. Part of their Say It With Stamps line. I used more images from the new die cut sheets for the birds and mailboxes. Absolutely love that all the coloring is already done for you.

I used Therm O Web Glitz Glitter Gel to create the pretty falling heart pattern. And a bit of iCraft Deco Foil Flock sheet to make the snowbanks. Really love the texture they both bring. As always, I’ve got the complete step-by-step tutorial for this project up on the Therm O Web blog, if you’d like to learn more.

Happy Valentine’s!

Hugs & Kisses with CardMaps

Happy Tuesday, crafty friends! Today I’m back to share some Valentine love with a card that I made for the PageMaps site using one of the January 2021 CardMaps sketches.

Here is the fun sketch that I used, and my take on it featuring this year’s Valentine collection by PhotoPlay Paper called Love Letters.

I am a huge fan of mixing patterned papers, so this was such a fun sketch to work with. I used two main prints for the background, breaking them up with a thin strip of cardstock and twine. And of course those banner flags add in a lot more pattern, too. Super fun, and a great way to use upĀ  small scraps of paper you may have laying around.

PhotoPlay has started doing a new thing where they provide die cut sheets that coordinate with their collections, and that is what I used on the cute bird here. I really like these because you get multiple images on each sheet, and all the coloring is already done for you. Simply die cut or fussy cut the image you want, and you are good to go.

Happy Valentine’s week! Thanks so much for stopping by!
