Well, Hello

Well, hello my friends! Happy, happy Friday to you!

Well, Hello

Sharing another fun Just Because card with you today, because I can’t stay away from this adorable collection. I am so in love with this color combination. The brightness makes me dream of spring, which I am SO ready for. Maybe it will be here soon.

Well, Hello2

I am proud of myself in that I used only paper scraps for this. Just can’t bear to throw any of it away. Pieced the background with leftover strips and then added in that pretty chipboard frame and a paper bow and rosette made from the Paper Crafting Kit. I even used the tiniest of scrap strips on the very tippy top trim.

Well, Hello3

Have I mentioned how much I love this line???:D

Thanks for stopping by everyone! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Because You are My Friend

Sharing a little Just Because this morning. Just because it’s Monday. Just because I’m in the mood for flowers. Just because I’m thinking of YOU, my sweet bloggy friends.

Life is Better

Just because I want to take a moment to tell you all how grateful I am for you. Blog buddies are the BEST!

Life is Better3

Hope you had a great weekend. Our annual Spring Garden Party at the garden center was nice, but a bit quiet. It’s still a tad early for spring planting.

Life is Better2

But I am definitely in the mood for some spring flowers.

How about you?

So Very Special

Hiya Sweetie Peas! A very happy Friday to you! My goodness, but this week has gone by fast. I was hoping to be fully recovered and cleaned up from the beach retreat by now, but such is not the case. I still have stuff piled by the front door right where I dropped it, and here it is the weekend again. Where on earth do the days go?

Just Because Cycling TeamToday I have a friendship card to share that I made for my ride with the Little Yellow Bicycle Just Because Cycling Team.

Audrey So Very Special

This little guy was made from the 6×6 Paper Pad, and was mostly inspired by the adorable striped paper I used to create the banner strips. I simply cut out the stripes and added fishtail notches to the ends before adhering them back down in random lengths across the center of the card. Super quick and easy, and isn’t that a fun way to use striped papers?

Audrey So Very Special2

One of the stripes already had a sweet sentiment printed on it, and I just added a cute chipboard piece to finish off the greeting. Tied the card up with trims, die cuts, a chipboard heart, and a pair of decorative pins.

Audrey So Very Special3

This card is dedicated to all of you, my sweet bloggy friends! Because all of YOU are wonderful, and so very special!

Thanks so much for popping in. And have a great weekend!

Just Because Cycling Team

Just Because Cycling TeamHiya Sweeties! Happy Wednesday! Today is a happy day for me. I am up on the Little Yellow Bicycle blog, sharing my projects for the Just Because Cycling Team!

Audrey Together Bi-fold Frame

Some of you may remember these photos of me and my kiddos from Christmas. I know I’ve used them before, but it’s a rare occurrence in my house these days to get decent pictures of all of us together, and I wanted to do something special with them. I think this bi-fold frame is really going to dress up my front entryway table for Valentine’s Day this year.

Audrey Together Bi-fold Frame2

Just Because has sooo many cute embellishments that this project was super fun to put together. The base of the frame is just two pages from a chipboard mini album. I covered the pages with patterned paper and then went to town with the goodies. Then I simply tied the two pages together with twine.

Audrey Together Bi-fold Frame3

I love that this frame will work perfectly for Valentine’s Day, but I think it’s versatile enough to work throughout the rest of the year, too.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’ll be back soon with another project I made for the Just Because Cycling Team, or you can take a peek on the Little Yellow Bicycle blog. I would be so grateful if you all went and cheered me on! And I hope to get caught up on all my blog visits soon. Have a great day!

Winter Chill

Hello Sweets, and happy, happy Friday! I hope you are all doing well! I am still looking and feeling like a veeeeery old lady with my pulled back. Seems that putting away Christmas decorations is hazardous to your health. Maybe that means next year I should just leave them out. 😉

I was noticing that this has been the week of the snowman here on the old blog. So to round out the week in proper fashion, I have one more snowman to share with you.

This little cutie is a Clear Cut from Little Yellow Bicycle’s Winterings collection, mixed with some of last year’s Winter Twig. Love that the two lines work so well together.

And speaking of Little Yellow Bicycle, I have some happy news.
