Panda Party with Photo Play Paper

Hi Friends, and happy Monday once again! Can you all believe we are starting the last week of September already?  Just a few more days until I can “officially” start sharing my Halloween spooks with you!

But before the Halloween haunts begin, I have a very sweet little guy to share with you today. This is the adorable Party Panda collection from Photo Play Paper. And if you are on their mailing list, you will have received the instructions for this card, along with two other party cards, in your email last week.

The new Photo Play Paper Cake series includes three birthday themed collections, perfect for all the boys and girls on your birthday list. I am a sucker for cute little critters, and these lines have lots of them, in bright and happy papers, stickers, and now stamps and dies, too.

Best thing is, Photo Play and Scrapbook Expo are offering an amazing prize giveaway of all three CAKE collections. All you need to do is leave a comment on the Scrapbook Expo blog (HERE) by Thursday, September 28th, for a chance to win this fabulous prize.

My Creative Time 67th Edition Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time 67th Edition Release Blog Hop! Today is a happy day, because finally it’s release day for all of the wonderful products you’ve been seeing in the sneak peeks throughout this past week. I am so excited to be joining in on the fun with a special guest project. You should have arrived from Teri Beri’s blog, but if you’ve gotten lost anywhere along the way, you can start back at the My Creative Time blog.

My card for today features the adorable Sea You Soon stamp and die set, along with the fabulous new Scalloped Stitched Square Dies, in a sweet little nautical friendship design.

I am just smitten with the cute critters from Sea You Soon. These little guys were watercolored and die cut with the matching dies and added to an underwater scene that was pieced from the scalloped square dies. The sentiment from the set was stamped onto a circle die cut from the previously released Bunch of Fun Circle Dies. The paper is from the You & Me collection by Simple Stories.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Next stop along the hop is Erica .

And here’s more information for you about today’s release.

The Best Day with Therm O Web & Carta Bella

Hello, hello! Happy Monday, and Happy Labor Day, my friends!

AudreyPettit Thermoweb CartaBella RusticEleganceBestDayCardThis past week, the Therm O Web team partnered up with our friends at Carta Bella to share a week of inspiration showcasing projects featuring Therm O Web adhesives and foils along with Carta Bella’s beautiful Rustic Elegance collection. I shared the first of my projects with you on Friday, and today I am back with a few more things to share.

AudreyPettit Thermoweb CartaBella RusticEleganceBestDayCard2I love the soft color palette in this collection, and the pretty prints, too. And although Rustic Elegance is a wedding collection, I think it works for so much more, like my Best Day card here.

AudreyPettit Thermoweb CartaBella RusticEleganceBestDayCard3Just in time for Halloween this year, Therm O Web is releasing another new color to their iCraft Deco Foil line…. black. I added some texture and shine to the center of my fussy cut flower using the new black foil and the deco foil liquid adhesive. I’ve shared the how-to’s on the Therm O Web blog, if you’d like to learn more.

And since Rustic Elegance has some of the cutest mason jar images out there, and I can’t resist a good mason jar…. I’ve made a couple of quick tags to finish things off.

Simple and easy! Just a few fussy cut jars and labels, topped with heart stickers, and tied up with twine string.

Donut You Know? with My Creative Time

Hello Sweeties, and happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and Mother’s Day! This week I am super excited to be joining in on the fun over at My Creative Time for their 43rd Edition release. Today is day one of sneak peeks, and I think you all are going to love this month’s release, celebrating all things sweet and birthday in honor of Emma’s birthday month.

AudreyPettit MCT BetterTogether DonutYouKnow
This is the adorable new We’re Better Together stamp set and coordinating dies. Dontcha love that fun coffee cup and donut and puny sentiment? Just makes me smile, and as a huge lover of all things coffee (and donuts, of course), this new set is right up my alley.

AudreyPettit MCT BetterTogether DonutYouKnow2
I paired the new We’re Better Together set with the previously released Bunch of Fun Circle dies to create a cute watercolor shabby shaped card. So quick and easy to do, and a really fun alternative to the standard card base.

AudreyPettit MCT BetterTogether DonutYouKnow3
I used Distress inks to watercolor the background in one of my all-time favorite color combos, blue and brown, and then pulled out an older My Mind’s Eye 6×6 paper pad to match. The scalloped circular frame was die cut from the patterned paper using the two largest Bunch of Fun Circle dies nested. The coffee cup and donut were then paper pieced from complementary prints. Blue frosting? You betcha!

AudreyPettit MCT BetterTogether DonutYouKnow4
I added some shading to the coffee cup with a very light wash of watercolor Distress. The patterned paper is thin, but with a gentle touch you can add color without warping. The donut was more heavily inked using an ink blending tool, and then stippled with water droplets. I coated the frosting die cut with several layers of clear embossing powder, after stamping with the coordinating sprinkles stamp. Love that bit of frosting shine.

Be sure to stop by the My Creative Time blog to see lots more fun sneak peek projects, including a second new set being revealed today. And interested in a chance to win?

***Sneak Peek giveaway!***

Hello Awesome with BasicGrey

Hi everyone! I have a couple of Easter card ideas up on the BasicGrey blog today, and I wanted to share the first of them here with you, too.

AudreyPettit BG Prism HelloAwesomeCard2Both are made with the fabulous new Prism collection, and although not specifically a themed line, the bright pastel colors in Prism are absolutely perfect for spring cards. Pair that with a few favorite dies, and you have a fun Easter look in no time.

AudreyPettit BG Prism HelloAwesomeCard4Don’t you just love that big ol’ bunny? Such a great die cut, that you really don’t need much else. I added a quick knot of trim and a few tiny flowers, and my bunny is good to go. Absolutely love how he looks, nestled amongst that beautiful Hello Frame die from My Creative Time’s February release. I inked just the hello portion of the die cut with pink Distress, and layered it onto a Stitched 3×4 Journal die cut for a perfect fit.

AudreyPettit BG Prism HelloAwesomeCard3Thanks so much for stopping by! Today is a wonderful day! The girls and I are going to be trying our hand at paper mache in a little bit, then later today…. my boy is coming home for spring break! Yippee! Hope you all have a wonderful day, too!
