Spring Shop Update at AudOnes Prims

Happy Monday, friends! I’ve been working away behind the scenes on some new spring shop goodies, and they are finished, and listed, and I’m so excited today to share them with you!

If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you may have already seen a peek at these. And some of you may remember a similar version of this sweet Old Mother Goose from previous years. She was truly one of my most favorite prims, and when I came across this vintage-looking floral fabric, I couldn’t resist making her again.

One thing I did differently with Mother Goose this time is to craft up a floppy burlap nest to go along. The old gal fits perfectly in a basket or bowl, but is a bit wobbly on her feet all on her own. The new nest helps keep her on her toes.

Another pair you might recognize are these adorable folk-art rabbit dolls, Lili and Lala Lapin. I had crafted these for my shop years ago, but I recently uncovered another set that were still in pieces. So I stitched them up, and added a few new embellishments, and think they are just the cutest things.

Lastly, I have some polka dotty egg bowl fillers, done up in a rainbow of bright colors.

These over-sized eggs just make me smile. I am such a sucker for polka dots!

All these items have been listed in my AudOnes Prims Shop, if you are interested. You can click on the link on my sidebar or menu at any time, or simply click HERE. If there’s a certain color of egg you’d like, just leave me a comment below.

Thanks so much, friends! I hope you enjoy!

#Spring Cottontail Rabbit with Ranger Ink

Hi friends! I’m back with a new card today that I have the great pleasure of sharing as a project tutorial on the Ranger Ink blog this week. Of course Easter is coming up this weekend, so it’s a perfect time to be showcasing this adorable rabbit die. He so reminds me of those molded chocolate rabbits I always liked to get my kids for their Easter baskets. Lots of happy memories there. Love that he can also be just a spring rabbit out in the garden, which is how I’ve used the little guy today.

The Cottontail rabbit is such a classic and timeless shape. It looks great just as a simple silhouette, but for this card, I decided to embellish him with lots of Distress inks and add accent details with Distress Crayons. And since this is a Bigz die, you can dress up your project with the texture of fabric or burlap, like I’ve done on the bow here.

The background of the card starts with a layer of watercolor cardstock inked in a soft palette of Milled Lavender and Victorian Velvet Distress ink, which was then softly stenciled in a woven pattern and stitched to my card base. The frame, die cut from kraft stock cardstock, was made with the Stacked Postage die set… a great go-to set for creating easy layers. I added some greenery from the Wildflower Stems #2 die set. The sentiment was made with the new Labels Alphanumeric dies.

I’ve got the full step-by-step project tutorial up on the Ranger Ink blog, if you’d like to learn more.

Hope all my friends and family who celebrate have a blessed Easter holiday! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Spring Preview- Fresh Produce

Hi friends, happy Wednesday! I’m back today with another sneak peek from my new spring shop goodies. These mischievous guys have been caught red-handed out in the garden, filling their pockets full of fresh produce. Naughty bunnies!

Is it spring in your neck of the woods yet? Our temperatures soared into the mid 70’s last week, but we’ve dipped way down into the gloomy chill again. Looks like March will come in like a lion this year. Even so, I’m taking down the winter snowmen this week. Time for bunnies, don’t you think?

If you’re ready for spring things, too, stay tuned for my upcoming shop opening.

Some Bunny Special with Photo Play Paper

Hello, Sweet Friends!
Happy Monday to all of you!

Before the Easter Bunny gets too far away from us, I wanted to share one last Easter-inspired card today that I made for Photo Play Paper using their adorable Hoppy Easter collection and matching clear stamp set.

I had mentioned before how much I love all the cute little Hoppy Easter critters, and this sweet bunny is just another to add to the list. I am so excited that Photo Play has begun adding clear stamps and die sets to their product line. This little guy was stamped onto watercolor paper and colored with Distress Inks, fussy cut, and popped onto the card with foam adhesive for some depth and dimension.

The Some Bunny Special card is from the cut-apart journaling card sheet. Such an easy way to add focal elements to a card design. I added a mix of patterned papers, a twine tie, and a few enamel dots to finish.

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend, filled with friends, family, and a few special treats from the Bunny! Thanks so much for stopping by!

My Peeps with Photo Play Paper

Happy Wednesday, Crafty Friends!

With just a few days left until the holiday, I figured I’d better hurry up and share the rest of my Easter projects for the year! Today I have a sweet little bunny card that I made back in January for the Creativation CHA Show using Photo Play Paper’s adorable Hoppy Easter collection.

I am just a sucker for the cute critters in the Hoppy Easter line! One of my favorite things about it is that there are matching stamps and dies that go along with this collection with even more sweet animals to play with. I used the bunny stamp in another card that I will share soon. And for this card, I added a stamped sentiment strip using just one of the fun greetings from the set.

Simple layers, with a bit of foam adhesive between, and a round porthole window made with dies. The bunny is from one of the cut-apart journaling cards. Finished with a bit of shabby ink and a sweet ribbon bow.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Miss Sunflower Bunny at AudOnes Prims

Hello Sweet Friends! Happy Wednesday!

I hope you are all having a good week! It’s been a very nice one so far here at our house, I must say. Just one more day until my Missy Nik turns 19, (which seriously, I have such a hard time believing) and we are making the most out of it with some special fun…. a day trip out to our favorite local lake, eating out, and yesterday we went to see Beauty and the Beast. Which truly was just amazing. I don’t often get to spend so much time with her these days, and soon she is heading off to college. So you know this old mom is on cloud 9 right now.

Speaking of beasts, I have a new very prim and very sweet one to share with you today. This is Miss Sunflower. She’s been keeping me quite busy over the last several days, but she was worth it. I really love how she turned out with that shabby little dress and pinny, made from some favorite prints in gingham and calico. And look at her flowers! She’s quite the gardener, isn’t she?

I have a small stash of real vintage millinery flowers that I absolutely treasure and adore, and thought this sweet yellow velvet combo was the perfect finishing touch for Miss Sunflower’s old tin watering can. She does make me smile. Hope she does you, too!

Miss Sunflower Bunny has just been listed in my AudOnes Prims shop, in case you are interested in taking her home!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you all a very wonderful day!
