Happy Friday, crafty friends! As I mentioned in a previous post, from now until December I am on a mission to make at least one holiday card a week during a crafty Zoom session with my friend, Kathie. It’s one way to stay connected to friends and family during these quarantine days, and a great way to build up my stash of cards for the year at the same time. I am calling this my 2021 Christmas Card Project, and each week I hope to share my progress with you.
For week 3, I finished two cards using PhotoPlay Paper’s older Christmas line, Mad 4 Plaid Christmas.
For both cards, I used sketches from the October 2018 CardMaps. I mixed cardstock stickers and patterned paper for card #1, adding in only white cardstock. A corner rounder punch finished off the design.
The second card uses cardstock and twine along with more patterned papers and stickers, and this time I added in the old stacked postage die set from Tim Holtz and an ancient border punch by Fiskars. I do love to try to use my older tools and supplies.
I’m making pretty good progress on my Christmas card stash!
Happy weekend, friends!
