You are My Honey Bee with CardMaps

Happy Monday, crafty friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today I am sharing a card that I made for the July CardMaps sketches on the PageMaps blog.

Here is the fun sketch that I used, and my take on it featuring the adorable Wild Honey collection from Photo Play Paper.

I used to be terrified of bees when I was little, but now I just love them. As soon as I saw the bee images in the sketch, I knew just what to do. The Wild Honey line has lots of sweet bee stickers to chose from. The sentiment and bee hive are from the sticker sheet, too. I popped some of the images up with foam tape to give a bit of depth and dimension to this simple design.

Crisp white cardstock and a layer of patterned paper. I used the old postage stamp Sizzix die set to cut the four blocks of contrasting paper.

So bright and happy for the summertime months.  And filled with bees, which just makes me smile.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have an amazing week ahead!

  1. I am still terrified of them … my mom was allergic and I have no idea (thankfully!) if I am or not, as I haven’t been stung (fingers crossed it never happens to find out!). I loveeeeeeee this! So fun how you used the hexagon paper with it, and it is the perfect color too!
