So Happy with Photo Play Paper

Happy Friday, crafty friends! Once again we’ve made it to the weekend. Hope you are all doing well in your neck of the woods. Today I’m rounding out a week of Photo Play Paper projects with one last card made with my favorite of their summer collections, Wild Honey.

I went back to my roots of using lots of patterned papers on this one. I just can’t help myself when it comes to all of those fabulous prints. I chose a bright and happy pink for the main background, and then layered with several strips of contrasting papers. The focal panel is the backside of the cut-apart journaling card sheet. A great way to use journaling cards that may not otherwise suit.

I rounded the two right corners, and tied twine around the bottom of the card. The sentiment and bicycle are cardstock stickers that were popped up with foam adhesive for a bit of depth and dimension. Simple and sweet, and I love that this card could work for many occasions.

Here’s a peek back at my trio of Wild Honey cards for this week. Bumblebees, butterflies, and bicycles… such a fun and happy collection.

Hope you are keeping well out there! Our governor is cracking back down on restrictions starting at 5 pm today. Our Covid case numbers continue to skyrocket here in North Carolina. Scary stuff. Stay safe! And thanks so much for stopping by!

The supplies I’ve used are linked and/or listed below:
