2019 Holiday Card Series- Day 5 with CardMaps

PMU Header

Happy Wednesday, and welcome back to day 5 of my 2019 Holiday Card Series. Today I’m sharing a card that I had the great pleasure of making for the October CardMaps sketches on the PageMaps blog.

Here is the fun sketch that I used, and my take on it featuring one of my all-time favorite bears from Reverse Confetti.

Do you guys remember this cute Jalopy-driving bear from Reverse Confetti’s Bearing Gifts stamp set? An older set now, but still melts my heart every time.

I stamped the images onto Luxury White cardstock, colored them with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. The patterned papers are from the My Favorite Christmas collection by Echo Park Paper.

I made a little woodsy scene for my bear, over the river and through the woods, to grandmother’s house he goes. Added some white gel pen detailing around the window frame and edge of the card, and layered the panel onto crisp black cardstock to make it pop.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful day!
