Life’s Small Moments with Newton’s Nook

Happy Monday, crafty friends! I’m back today with another card featuring those adorable Autumn Mice from Newton’s Nook. The weather outside, and the calendar page, are telling me that fall is quickly slipping away… but I just can’t resist these sweet critters. And like this little guy, I am definitely trying to savor life’s small moments these days. It’s my birthday week, and I have some fun adventures planned that I am really looking forward to. Not only that, Thanksgiving will soon be here, too, and that means my kids will come home for the holiday. So many happy moments to be thankful for!

I really love this Happy Haunting paper from Simple Stories, and tried to match my Copic coloring to these softer pastel colors. Then added in some bold black and crisp white to make the colors pop. Tim Holtz Stitched Squares dies were used to cut the window opening. And then I made a little hillside with Heffy Doodle Stitched Slopey Joes Border Dies.

I have one more fall project to share later this week, and then I know, I know…. it’s time to move on to the holidays! Hope you all have a wonderful day, and thanks so much for stopping by!
