Hi crafty friends, happy Wednesday! I’m stepping away from the holiday fabric projects today to return to paper with a sweet group hug card that I made for the recent match-up with Waffleflower Crafts on the Therm O Web blog.
This little cutie features the adorable Group Hug stamp set from Waffleflower, and a rarity from me… a cardstock only design. The image was stamped directly onto the card panel, and colored with Copic markers. Then layered onto a simple card base with a bit of embossing, rounded corners, and twine.
To keep the card from looking too flat, Therm O Web Metallix Gel was added with a heart stencil to the background for texture and shine. And Deco Foil Flock sheeting adds velvety dimension to the die cut sentiment.
I’ve got additional details and step-by-steps up on the Therm O Web blog, along with a second Group Hug card, if you’d like to see more.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope everybody is having a great summer? Any big vacation plans?
