It’s a Scrappy Christmas- Day 3

Hi friends! Back again for day 3 of my scrappy holiday card shares here on my blog. From now until Christmas I hope to share as many cards as I can that I made at a scrapbook retreat back in January with leftover scraps from two of my favorite Christmas collections, I Love Christmas by Echo Park and Dear Santa by Photo Play Paper.  Today’s card is a sweet holiday tree design done up in classic Christmas red and green.

While my other scrappy cards have been a mix of both collections so far, this card is 100% Echo Park. I used some small pieces of patterned paper once again for photo corners and a banner strip. The tree is one of the 3×4 journaling cards, the bottom of which I covered with the banner. I often have a hard time figuring out what to do with all the little stickers that come on the sheet, but that tiny round snowflake worked perfectly as a tree topper. The greetings sentiment is from the Alpha sticker sheet. Then a bit of white cardstock, a scalloped border punch, and enamel dots finish this design.

Three scrappy cards down, but too many left to make it in time. I’ll keep trying, though.

How about all of you? Are you still working on your holiday cards, too?

  1. Cute card, Audrey! I’ve hit a roadblock in my cardmaking since I hurt my back as I have to bring supplies up from the basement to do anything. I do hope to get a few more done, though.
