Sweet Freedom with Therm O Web

I’m back today with another patriotic card to share. This time it’s the second card I made last week for the Therm O Web blog featuring Fancy Foils and dies from GinaK Designs along with the adorable Red, White, & Blue collection by Photo Play Paper.

Just a simple layered background, with border strips and twine around the center. Die cut ephemera and a cardstock sticker for the sentiment. I created a frame for the Lady Liberty journaling card from nested GinaK stitched rectangle dies. The red stars were also die cut from GinaK cardstock using the same set.

And once again, I added a thin edge of shiny bright Fancy Foil to the frame using the deco foil adhesive pen. So easy to do, and doesn’t require any extra tools. I’ve got the full step-by-step tutorial up on the Therm O Web blog, if you’d like to learn more.

Thanks so much for stopping by, friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. My parents have returned home from their long summer visit with us, so things are quiet here again. Should be heading back into my normal routine this week. Perhaps that will mean a bit more time in the craft room? How about you? Any big plans for the week?

P.S.- All Photo Play Paper products are still currently on sale at Scrapbook.com, including the fun Red, White, & Blue collection I’ve used today.
