It’s been a big day already here at my house. We had a tree company out this morning to remove three big trees from the back yard that had become quite too massive for the space. With sixteen trees planted in an half-acre yard, things were beginning to feel a bit closed in. What’s amazing to me is how gigantic trees could become in ten years, and how anyone could manage to cut them down and haul them away in only half an hour. These days, I can hardly make a simple decision in that amount of time! 😉
Last week, the Therm O Web team had the great fun of joining up with our friends at Waffle Flower Crafts. I shared the first card I made for the swap here already (click here to see that post), and today I’m back with number two. Another chef card from Big Bear & Bird. This time, Bear has whipped up some recipes for summer fun.
I do love that silly old bear! He has been colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the matching dies. Did some paper piecing for his gingham apron and hat. I don’t know about you all, but gingham just screams summer to me. Puts me in mind of a little outdoor picnic or bbq.
I’ve got more details and step-by-step directions up on the Therm O Web blog, if you’d like to learn more.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you all are having lots of summer fun in your neck of the woods!
