Inspired By Challenge- Foxy Succulents

Hello, Friends!

Have you all seen the fun news? The Inspired By challenge blog is back with new weekly challenges and a new design team, too. And today I am super excited to be joining in with a guest project for challenge #8, Foxy Succulents!

How will this photo inspire you? Theme? Colors? Placement? Well you all know by now what a big fan I am of cute little critters… so of course I went very literal with my project for today, with a fox, and some succulents thrown in, too. 😀

Lots of crisp white layers here, and stamping and stenciling. I layered Tim Holtz’s new Stacked Postage dies with his Stitched Rectangles for the framework. The background is stenciled with Distress ink using a Simon Says Stamp stencil that really put me in mind of the shape of succulent leaves.

The cute little fox was stamped, die cut, and colored with my Zig real brush markers. The succulent spray and sentiment are from a set by Sizzix. I added some white gel pen marks to the fox’s face to mimic the cutie in the inspiration photo.

Can’t wait to see what you all do with this fun challenge. Be sure to check out the Inspired By blog to play along, and a huge thank you to Laurel for letting me join in today! Have a great day, everyone! And a great weekend, too!
