Hi sweet friends! Thanks for stopping by! Can you believe we are on the brink of a brand new year? It’s hard to believe how much can happen in the space of a year, but how quickly it can fly by. I hope 2018 is good to all of us. I hope we all shine.
2017 brought it’s challenges, and many changes to my little household. I lost my sweet pup Crissy to cancer this past May, and you all know that my youngest wee babe, Missy Nik, headed off to university this fall, leaving me a true empty nester for the very first time. I started a new job at the end of summer to keep me busy… and boy has it managed to do just that. I’m still trying to figure out how to balance crafting, blogging, my little shop, and work with my new schedule. I thank you all for sticking with me while I try to figure things out. Mr. Pete graduated this December with a BS in Biochemistry and a minor in Biology, and is now looking forward to the next chapter in life. So lots of changes yet in store for him… and I’m sure for all of us, too.
I don’t tend to make resolutions for the New Year, but if I had to pick my one little word for 2018 it would be this one here on my card for today…. a non-Christmasy snowman card made with Photo Play Paper’s adorable Mad4Plaid Christmas collection.
Wishing all my friends and family a very happy New Year! Thank you all for your support and friendship and all the many visits you pay here in my little corner of blogland! And may we all shine brightly this new year! XOXO
