This past week was Christmas Ornament week on the Therm O Web blog, one of my favorite weeks of the year. Throughout the week, the designers shared lots of fabulous handmade project ideas using a fun range of materials from fabric to paper. And you all know me…. I couldn’t resist using a little bit of both for my project, stacked rosette ornament balls.
To me there’s something very nostalgic about the classic rosette design. They particularly remind me of the vintage-inspired glittered and be-sparkled ornaments of yore that I love to collect and treasure. This year, I’m giving the traditional rosette a bit of a modern update in this stacked ball design using new holiday papers from Simple Stories and some simple fabric and trims.
Super fun, and better yet, quick and easy to create, even last minute as it is. I’ve got the full step-by-step tutorial for these up on the Therm O Web blog, if you’d like to learn more.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope your week is off to a great start!
