Mother’s Day with Ranger Ink

Hello Friends! Happy Monday!

Apologies for the very late start to my blog post! My internet was down for most of the day, and has only just come back online. Just in time for me to sneak in with a sweet Mother’s Day card project that I have up on the Ranger Ink blog today.

I have been so taken recently with the new Tim Holtz Scroll die mixed with some of his wildflower thinlits, and this seemed the perfect combo once again for Mother’s Day. After all, all moms love flowers, right?

This time I used the newer Wildflower #2 set, water colored with Distress inks and Distress Oxide, along with the shiny glam look of gold Deco paper for the “greens”. I embossed the frame with the Lace Texture Fade and die cut the opening with my favorite Stitched Ovals die set. Use some new goodies like an Index Clip, Salvaged Baseboard, and Quotation sticker.

The inside is embellished with a die cut word strip and accent Clippings sticker. I used some of the leftover letters to add the sentiment on the outside, too.

I’ve got the complete step-by-step tutorial up on the Ranger Ink blog, if you’d like to learn more!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you’re all having a wonderful day!

  1. I love this! All the vintage-y, distressed colors and textures my make heart smile! A new favorite. I think I need that embossing folder as I have a coordinating stencil.

  2. Gorgeous card with the lovely flowers! Amazing layers as always, so pretty! And, I love the clip on the ribbon…fab touch!

  3. Audrey your card is a gem and your tutorial is great! I love the new Oxide inks and this is such a lovely idea. I need that embossingfolder:)
