Santa’s Toy Shop with Therm O Web & Echo Park

Hello, Crafty Friends!

Happy Monday, and happy start to Thanksgiving week here in the US. Of course with Thanksgiving so quickly approaching, it seems very official. The holiday season is truly upon us. The most magical season of all! I try to be mindful to count my blessings throughout the year, but this week, it always hits me hard. Because not only is this the season for giving thanks, this also is my birthday week! And so it hits me… how truly blessed I am. And how grateful I am for all of YOU! I hope that whatever you all do this week,  that you are blessed with the bounty and love of the holiday season, too!

Last week, I got the chance to play with the adorable I Love Christmas collection from Echo Park for a special product match up on the Therm O Web blog. I made three holidays cards with the kit, one of which I shared last time. And today, I’m back with the second.

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it before, but I have a serious soft spot for gingers. They are just so darn adorable, and happen to be one of my favorite cookies to eat, too. So I simply couldn’t resist this sweet little sticker version, and used him as the jumping off point for today’s card.

To make sure my little guy popped off the page, I added a few accents to dress him up. The holly leaves came together on one sticker, but were easily cut apart to layer with a little twine bow tie. And enamel dot buttons add a bit of extra pizazz, too. I used some natural kraft in the background to coordinate with my ginger, and layered in a few candy stripe details. White ink rubbed onto the paper edges brings a touch of winter frost that I so love for the holidays.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you all a wonderful day!

P.S. – Looking ahead… this upcoming weekend is Shop Small Saturday. My AudOnes Prims Shop will have new additions, and some special deals, too! I hope that if you’re doing your holiday shopping this weekend, you’ll remember to Shop Small!
