This week, the Therm O Web team has the great pleasure of joining up with our friends at Art Impressions! Art Impressions has just released five fabulous new sets for Christmas that I know you are going to adore. And I’m so excited to be able to offer you a chance to win the entire new collection. Keep reading below for more details on that!

I made two holiday cards with the adorable Southwest Christmas stamp set, and I’d love to share the first with you here today. For this card, I decided to go with a rather nontraditional color palette to really embrace the southwestern style of this fun set. So I went with some traditional candy stripe red, but then paired it with the warm tones of natural cocoa brown.

audreypettit-thermoweb-ai-warmestwishescard2The patterned paper is from Authentique’s Festive collection, and the brown cardstock and ink are Stampin’Up’s old Close to Cocoa. I stamped the cowboy Santa image onto watercolor paper, and colored him with Zig Clean Color markers. And then I die cut nesting circles for my Santa frame. The background was stamped repeatedly with adorable chili peppers from the set to add a little spice to the design.

The sentiment is included in the Southwest Christmas set. I stamped it onto a small watercolor strip using the matching cocoa ink, and popped the banner onto the bottom of the image using a bit of foam tape. Clear Wink of Stella glitter pen was added to Santa’s knapsack and vest, and the bows on the chili peppers, as well. And for a final touch, I added sequins from 28 Lilac Lane.
