Happy Monday, Crafty Friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend, celebrating all the special and important men in your lives, or holding them dear in heart and memory. I am super blessed this year to have had my dad here in person for Father’s Day. A very rare occasion, for sure. We’re having our big celebration today. I’ve got ribs for the grill, and a pie to bake, and of course a card for dad to share, made with Photo Play Paper’s fun new Mad4Plaid collection.
If you are one that tends to gravitate to the back side of your double-sided papers, then be sure to check out the new Mad4Plaid collection. This is Tailored, the more masculine version of two lines, filled with plaid, gingham, and checked prints perfect for the guys.
My dad deserves a prize ribbon for all the hard work that he does. So my wee paper version seemed perfect for his card. I mixed papers and stickers with stamps from Sizzix to create the ribbon, framed in lots of layers of prints and plaids.
