Happy Friday, Friends!
Every once in awhile, the Therm O Web team gets the opportunity to work with some of the latest and greatest fabric collections on the market. This month, the team had the chance to play with Jennifer Heynen’s adorable new Strawberry Festival line.
Jennifer’s fabric collections are always so bright and happy, and Strawberry Festival is no exception. Since strawberry season is upon us here in North Carolina, I thought it was only fitting to go quite literal with my project. So what better time to create a few shabby sweet strawberry bowl fillers than now?
These fun strawberries are so easy to create, even for beginner sewers. And they look as great tucked into a bowl for some seasonal home decor as they are functional as a pin cushion in the craft room.
I used a variety of adorable Strawberry Festival prints to create my berries. The stems and toppers are from my own Distress-dyed fabric. And some golden seed beads from 28 Lilac Lane made for the perfect berry seeds, didn’t they? I have a full tutorial up on the Therm O Web blog, if you’d like to learn more.
There’s lots of fun summery, beachy, nautical, and patriotic primitives and rag dolls for you, including quite a few one-of-a-kinds! Hope to see you then!
Have a great weekend, everyone!
