Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! It’s sneak peek week over at My Creative Time for their 47th Edition Release, and I am excited to be joining in on the fun with a special guest designer project. Today is day three of the peeks, and Emma is showcasing two new sets called Stitched Belly Band Dies and Belly Band Sentiments.
Belly Band is a fun and versatile set that has five dies for creating wrappers and labels for all your holiday projects. It’s great for treat packaging, gift bags, or boxes, or for packaging up a set of matching notecards. It’s also perfect for adding embellishment to tags, or just dressing up a greeting card, like I’ve done today.
One of my favorite things about this month’s release is how versatile the stamp and die sets are, and Belly Band is no exception. This set has nine sentiment images to choose from, including ones for all the major holidays, and even some general purpose ones, too. I made a Halloween card for today, but I love that this set could be used for many different occasions, all year long.
I couldn’t resist pulling in some spooks from last month’s Too Cute to Spook stamp and die set. I stamped the ghost, spider, and label onto smooth white cardstock, and then added some instant age and grunge with Distress ink. The images were die cut with the matching dies, and popped onto the card using foam adhesive for a bit of dimension. The belly band was die cut from patterned paper and trimmed to fit my 3.5″ x 5″ card base. The paper is from Authentique’s new Halloween collection for this year, Moonlit.
