Wish Upon a Starfish with Sizzix

Helloooooo sweet friends! Happy Monday! Hope you all had an amazing weekend. We have been having a wonderful time here, and today things are just starting to get back to a normal routine. Last week, we took my big graduate off to Myrtle Beach for five luxurious days of surf and sun. We lounged on the beach. Bobbed in the waves. Swam in the pools, and visited the aquarium. I do miss it already, though it’s good to be home, too. So today, I thought I’d bring a bit of the beach to all of us with a fun nautical project I made awhile back for the Sizzix blog. But first, I wanted to share some fun news with you.

This summer, I am so excited to announce that I will be joining May Flaum, from Craft with May, and an amazing line-up of guest instructors for Camp Scrap 2015! Camp Scrap is a month-long online class including over 40 new projects, five hours of video lessons and so much more. There will be cards, mixed media projects, layouts, and technique based tags… a little bit of everything… and you can sign up for the entire camp, or just bits and pieces. I know you’re going to love it. May is awesome! And check out this roster of guests: Ashli Oliver, Nancy Damiano, Nichol Magouirk, Paige Evans, Tammy Tutterow, Wanda Guess, Ashley Horton, Lydia Evans, and little ‘ol me. Class starts July 1st, and I hope you will join us! For all the details on Camp Scrap 2015, including class descriptions and registration, please click here.

And now onto my project for today! A fun seaside gift box made with the adorable Sizzix Mini Pizza Box die, and BasicGrey’s nautical Adrift collection.

This Mini Pizza Box die makes such a fun gift box, and it really is a great size for packaging all sorts of gifts and treats. Love that you could as easily fill it with jewelry as you could a cookie, for a big gift, or a small gift, or the perfect anytime gift. And, it also fits gift cards, making this one seriously useful container.

Thanks so much for stopping by! The wifi connection wasn’t very good at the beach, so I’m a bit behind on blog visits….. but I hope to visit SOON! Have a great day!
