*Sneak Peek Week- My Creative Time 42nd Edition Release

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! It’s sneak peek week over at My Creative Time for their 42nd Edition Release, and I am excited to be joining in on the fun today with a special guest designer project. Today is day three of the peeks, and Emma is showcasing two fabulous new products today, Fun Stitched Clouds and The Sky is the Limit.

The Sky is the Limit is an adorable new stamp set that has the hot air balloon you see here, as well as a variety of hearts, banners, and sentiment images, along with a set of coordinating dies. I used just one of the banners, the balloon, and a love themed sentiment to create a sweet little mini notecard that would be great for an encouragement card, a friendship card, or a love note for that special someone in your life.

The hot air balloon was stamped and colored with pencils, then die cut with the coordinating die. I popped the balloon up with foam adhesive to give it that look of floating in air. Tucking a pair of Fun Stitched Clouds die cuts behind the balloon really helps add that expansive feeling of sky, too.

I die cut one of the banners from white cardstock, and added a sentiment image and a bit of ink to the edges, and folded the ends at the points where the banner would naturally wave. Adhered the banner after applying a coat of Glossy Accents to the balloon, using a bit more foam adhesive for depth. The tiny heart die cut is also included in the set, and it, too, got a glossy finish. I used the previously released Scalloped Oval dies to create a quick and easy hill for the bottom of my panel, and then applied both green and blue Distress inks to blend the grass and sky.
