Perfect Love Bug with BasicGrey

Perfect Love Bug card by Audrey PettitIn honor of Valentine’s Day coming up in just a few short days, I have a fun project to share with you today. A sweet shaped-card Valentine for all those special “love bugs” in your life, made with a mix of my favorite BasicGrey paper collections and embellishments.

Perfect Love Bug card by Audrey PettitIsn’t this little lady bug adorable? And it’s really quite easy, too. I could so see these made up in a whole garden of colors and prints for boys or girls, kiddos or adults, alike. I made mine in a happy pink and black color scheme using a combination of papers and embellishments from the J’Adore, Adrift, and Prism collections. Really love how all the collections work together.

  1. Audrey, this is adorable! I have a number of little “love bugs” that would love something like this (especially if she was flying in to deliver a little sweet somethin’)…. I’ll be hopping over to BasicGrey for your tutorial. Thanks for the fun inspiration! 😀

  2. Oh my! How clever and how adorable Audrey!
Great colors also and love that little sentiment sticking out!
    Bravo!!

  3. Precious! I’m so taken in by the soft tulle wings you added. They are subtle yet so detailed for Miss Bug. The sweet little crocheted heart, tulle bow, and fancy gold heart….swoon. Love it! Hugs!
