You & Me with BasicGrey

Hello, hello! Happy Monday, my friends! I hope that you’ve all had a chance to rest up a bit now from the hectic holiday schedule of the past several weeks, and are finding time to enjoy this wonderful season. Seems like such a welcome break to me, after all the rush and hustle.

Somehow, I didn’t mange to post all of my holiday projects, but now that Christmas is over, it’s time to put all those away for the year and move on.  So today I thought it would be fun to share a Valentine card with you that I made for the BasicGrey blog featuring their new J’Adore collection.

J’Adore has a wide and beautiful range of colors, but for today’s card, I went with a bit of a traditional Valentine look with lots of pink mixed with pops of black and white. Die cuts and fun candy dots and heart gems, and even a bit of stamping. The background is a soft wash of watercolor.

And BasicGrey is offering a J’Adore prize package today on their blog, so be sure to stop by and leave a comment here.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you all a wonderful day!

  1. Love that soft wash of pink in the background. Hard to believe we need to be thinking about Valentine’s already, but it will sneak up on us if we don’t. The black sentiment really pops on your card Audrey. It’s awesome! Hugs!

  2. These are totally striking cards Audrey! Takes my eye straight away. Love the combination of the black and dark pink on white! oooh, I love basic grey!
