You + Me

The old routine is feeling a wee bit rusty this morning after having the last five days off. For a part of the country that rarely sees snow and ice these days, we’ve sure been getting quite a bit of it this winter. Luckily, though, we made it through the storm with flying colors and never did lose power. So I’m happy to report that we’ve been snug as a bug, and have even been enjoying a bit of a holiday. Huge thanks to all of you who sent well wishes and checked up on us.

I know Valentine’s Day is over, and we’re all ready to move on, but I remembered this one last card that I haven’t had a chance to share yet. A little love card I made for Authentique’s CHA booth. This is their beautiful Smitten collection.

Papers are all from the 6×6 Bundle. I added a die cut frame and snippets of a paper doily, then made a pretty banner swag using trim and stickers from the Detail sticker sheet. The pretty You + Me banner is from the Components Die Cut paper accents.

Finished off with a few candy buttons from BasicGrey. I do so love those things.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope your Mondays are off to a bright start. While most of the country is off for President’s Day, we start the long task of making up 7 days of missed school. One down, six more to go! Have a great day!

  1. It doesn’t matter what day it is when you share your gorgeous work! This is beautiful! This is a matter of fact stunning. Love the papers, colors and design.

Sorry for being MIA. I am recovering from a separated shoulder, so I am pretty immobile. So happy I had quite a bit of DT work completed ahead of schedule.

  2. Glad you did well through the storm without losing power! Your card is so pretty with the banner, mixed papers, and lovely bow! Hope you have a great week, hugs!

  3. Spring cannot get here soon enough! LOL! I’m so done with all the snow and arctic cold winter days! Glad your family got through that last snow storm ok! What a sweet card, Audrey! Love how you always incorporate the embellishments that go along with the collection you use! TFS!

  4. Happy to hear you got through this last storm with full power. We are waiting for Rex to strike at any minute… will this never end? The Penmaker and I made a quick run to the store for fresh fruit and veggies then back home to wait it out. Time for a pot of coffee I’m thinking!

  5. Beautiful card, Audrey! I think it can be used anytime at all and not just for Valentine’s Day! So glad you’ve fared well with the weather. We’re expecting more snow tonight but a warm up is on its way for the rest of the week.

  6. Yeah! I know that feeling of having gone through a storm and nothing gave in! I’m happy for you Guys.
Your card is delicious with that extra sweet banner.
    Thanks Audrey!

  7. Oh my goodness! I think I’m going to have to start a petition to have more than one Valentine’s Day a year so these gorgeous papers could get used more often. Beautiful Audrey! Hugs!

  8. Beautiful! I always love a bit of gingham and this is so striking with the black/white accents. The banner across the top is adorable. Glad you weathered the storm. We made up a snow day President’s Day Monday too and then got dumped on, left school early and had today off. It has been a bit difficult to get back into a routine. Love what you are doing with Authentique.
