XOXO

XOXO Sweeties! It’s Valentine’s time! And I am super excited to have a whole week of fun lovey-dovey projects lined up for you, just in time for the holiday. Starting today with this rustic wall hanging I made for Therm O Web’s CHA booth featuring their new Deco Glitter Dust Frames.

AudreyPettit Thermoweb GlitterFrames LoveHangingThe new Glitter Dust Frames are so fun and easy to work with, and provide all the sparkle and glam of glitter without any of the mess. Simply peel off the backing and stick…it’s as easy as that. Best thing is, the glitter stays put with no flaking.

AudreyPettit Thermoweb GlitterFrames LoveHanging3The frames come in three fun shapes and four colors. I used the gorgeous silver scalloped circle on my little wall hanging here. Made this from a leftover page of a chipboard mini album project. Papers and embellies are old Pink Paislee Love Struck.

AudreyPettit Thermoweb GlitterFrames LoveHanging4The scalloped circle is the perfect little frame for a cluster of Valentine embellishments. I started with a pink chipboard square and then layered in some Secret Crush die cuts and that cute clear cut cupid. Wrapped the whole with silver trim tied up with a big vintage button. Used the mini album’s original holes to add a hanger….floral wire and a real twig from the yard. I love pulling in a bit of nature when I can.

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. The girls and I attended one last crop at Archiver’s before they close their doors next weekend.

Archiver's storefront

The shelves were completely bare. I’m happy for them that they’ve sold out their merchandise, but it sure was hard to see it like that. So many happy memories in that place.

Last Archiver's CropIt’s been a great run!

  3. Fantastic Project Audrey!
That little bit of glitter really does the trick 😉
and thank You for sharing the picture at Archiver’s. I feel really sad too, so much so that I didn’t even go back to my local A.
    Have a great Monday~

  4. Beautiful Valentine piece! Sadly, we never had an Archiver’s anywhere near Dallas, but I’ve visited the stores in Houston and Mall of America when I’d travel. It’s a shame to see them all go. You’d think with all the money we all spend on supplies they could stay in business!
I thought of you this weekend as I stitched up a little Valentine pin cushion – you’d be proud 🙂

  5. What a spectacular hanging piece, puts me in the Valentine’s mood for sure!!
as a business owner it kills me to see a store close, specially one that carries the same I do…at least you had fun right!

  6. Your Valentine projects are lovely; I noticed that adorable cupid again. Dressed up in black and just as lovely as your golden cupid. A wonderful way to showcase this die. Love all the layers, patterns and glitter on this package. It is a gift on it’s own; gorgeous!
I don’t know Archiver’s but it sounds that i t has been a wonderful craft store and place to be…

    Enjoy your day!

  7. What an adorable wall hanging! Love the touch of the outdoors on it. We don’t have an Archiver’s around here, but I’m sad to hear of its closing. I hope this doesn’t become a trend with the other chains.

  8. Your home decor holiday pieces always make me smile. Love what you are doing with those glitter frames, so pretty in your layering style. Thanks for taking the time to watch my son’s video and leaving the sweet comments. I so appreciate your blog visits and words of encouragement!

  9. You make the cutest home decor. I love the XOXO and the cupid! Can’t wait to see the rest of your Valentine’s Day projects!

P/s: It’s tough for physical craft stores with all the online store competition.

  10. Cute! Cute! I’m loving that silly old Cupid this year so the more the merrier. hee hee This is just another example of your decor talent my friend. I never got the chance to visit an Archivers, but I’m sure as a crafty lover it will be a big loss to you. Hope you have a great week! Hugs!
