CHA is in full swing out in Anaheim, California, and I’ve been glued to my computer watching the festivities this past weekend. Sometimes I swear I can almost feel all that creative energy leaking right through the screen. So wish I could be there to see it all in person…….
……although this way is much less exhausting!
Have you seen the new BasicGrey collections yet? They have five new lines debuting at CHA this week, including this one called Spice Market. Such a beautiful collection inspired by the colors and patterns of a far-east spice market. I have absolutely fallen in love with this gorgeous palette of teal, mustard yellow, roasted red, and vibrant pink and the beautiful prints of the eastern marketplace.
I was lucky enough to get my hands on this collection ahead of time to create a few cards for the BasicGrey CHA booth, and today I am so excited to share the first of them here with you.
That gorgeous flower is from the Die Cuts & Transparencies. I popped it onto my background using Therm O Web 3D Zots dots for a bit of lifelike dimension. Threw in a few of the fabulous new hexie candy buttons, too. Papers are from the 6×6 Paper Pad. Always my favorite go-to for card making. I added a border sticker from the 12×12 Elements across the top and bottom, along with a sentiment from the Title Stickers. A portion of a 4×6 Snippet card acts as a second sentiment at the bottom.
If you haven’t had a chance to take a peek at the new Spice Market collection yet, you can see it, along with all the new collections, on the BasicGrey blog. And if you’re interested in seeing BasicGrey booth photos from the show, I found a fabulous photo album on Flickr, courtesy of The Scrappy Jedi. Super huge thanks to Melissa for posting those!
And a huge thanks to YOU, too, for stopping by today. Wishing you all a very wonderful day!
