Holiday Bouquet Stockings

AudreyPettit Thermoweb BlendFabric ChristmasStockingsThe Little Missy has informed me that I need to focus my energies on getting our Christmas decorations up. Here we are, halfway through the first week in December, and I’ve hardly gotten started. Makes me nervous to think Christmas is only three weeks away. I need to get the lead out. There’s still so much to do.

But along the way, I’ve been enjoying myself. You all know how much I love decorations! Still working on a few new ones to add to our tree this year, like these stockings I made with Holiday Bouquet fabric from Blend, our product partner this week on the Therm O Web blog.

These little cuties just make me smile. They are the perfect size for holding a few small treasures, and look great on the tree or tied to the top of gift packages. I lined them with Therm O Web fleece interfacing to give them lots of structure and shape, and then gave them a coffee bath for a shabby vintage finish.

  4. OMG! They are adorable! I can’t wait to see what else you have up your sleeve this month. I know what you mean about getting a late start – my cards are always mailed on Dec 1, and I just started them yesterday! My new philosophy is – I get done what I get done.
