Trick or Treat with Sizzix

Still so happy to be able to say, Happy October, to you, my friends! And in honor of my favorite month, I have my favorite type of project to share with you today. A quick inspiration Halloween card featuring Tim Holtz’s adorable new fall Alterations dies for Sizzix.

This is Tim’s new fabulous Apothecary Bottles Die. The die includes three different bottle designs, along with a variety of stoppers and labels, for a ton of die cutting fun and possibilities. I used the largest bottle here. So spooky and perfect for a Halloween design like this, but I can also see using the bottles for lots of other projects, as well. I’m thinking they could be filled with any number of treats and images and used like the mason jar designs that are so popular these days. Or filled with flowers as a simple vase.

But, it being October and all…….I went pure Halloween.

Don’t drink the potion. It’s poison!

I’ll be serving it, along with a bit of Hair of the Dog, at my next dinner party.

  1. Fantastic card, Audrey! (although I did spy some spiders near it!) I am on a quest to collect Tim Holtz dies and stamps but can’t find much around here. Do you know when the Christmas ones will be out?
