Photo Re-Cap

It’s so nice to sit here this morning and finally feel that I don’t have yet another crazy week to tackle. Yes, there are still CHA projects to produce, but that seems tame in comparison to the non-stop activity of graduation, DC, and college orientation that has been filling our plates lately. Perhaps now the feeling of summer freedom can truly begin.

My sweet mom has been sending me more photos from graduation, and of course since they melt my heart, I thought I’d share some with you. We’ll think of today as photo re-cap day here on the old blog, shall we? And as my adorable bloggy friend, Deb, has been asking about photos of me from that day, I’m happy to say that I do now have a few.

My little family. Of course you’ll notice how the Missy Nik and I are clinging to the boy for dear life. That’s how I am now……trying to hang on to every moment.

I also have photos from college orientation this past week. I only managed to take a few as we were first walking up, and then we got quickly overwhelmed by the schedule. Arrival at 8 am Thursday morning with non-stop activities until 10 pm. Wake up at 6 am Friday morning and repeat the process. I am still recovering my friends…..still recovering.

UNCG EUC

We spent most of our time in this building which housed the auditorium, conference rooms, food court, library, and bookstore. There was also a small art gallery, and happily, a Starbucks, which came in quite handy.

There is a lovely grassy quad area just outside.

And a wonderful hidden patio with a fountain that I discovered somewhere in the back. I think this is where I would hang out, if it were me.

Last photo I got was dinnertime, of Pete pouring over the orientation schedule.

Sigh………..he’s getting so big……

It was kid’s craft week last week on the Therm O Web blog. If you’re looking for fun and easy craft ideas for the little ones this summer, you should definitely check it out. I made a quick watermelon pocket pouch from a bit of paint and a paper plate. You can find out more about it and our other kid’s craft ideas on the Therm O Web blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by, Sweeties! Hope you have a fabulous day!
