Teacher Thanks

It’s a very happy day in our house when we can start counting down the days until summer vacation. After today, we have 14 days left of school. My kiddos could not be happier. Time for celebration is near at hand.

And while my kids are busy rejoicing, I’ve been realizing that it’s time for me to start thinking about those end-of-year teacher thank you’s.ย  I know these last few days are going to slip by fast.

Both kids have been very fortunate to have had some wonderful teachers this year. Nik’s art teacher in particular has gone way above and beyond the call of duty. On her own time and expense, she started an after-school art club for some of her students. In art club, the kids have gotten to work on projects more advanced than anything they could do in class, learning lots of new techniques and skills. This has been Nik’s most favorite thing from 8th grade. And what I am most grateful for this past year.

As some of you may remember, it’s LilyBee week on both the Glue Arts and Epiphany Crafts blogs. I made this card with the adorable Victoria Park Collection, along with my Glue Arts adhesives, and the Round 14 and Round 20 Button Studio Tools from Epiphany Crafts.

If you haven’t had a chance to visit the Glue Arts, Epiphany Crafts, and LilyBee blogs yet this week, you may want to do so. There are lots of prizes up for grabs from our fun triple-partnership, as well as beautiful projects from all three teams to get you inspired.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back tomorrow with one more LilyBee project for the Glue Arts blog. ๐Ÿ™‚
