Prickley Pear Spring Release Blog Hop

HI! Welcome to our May New Release Party!!!

Prickley Pear is releasing brand new sets of clear stamps with coordinated dies. This release contains new dies and stamps that coordinate with already existing dies. That way you can get the most out of your stash when buying new.

To celebrate this new release we are having a three day long Blog Party with loads of inspirations by the Design Team and a give away! One happy participant will win a $ 20 gift certificate to the web shop. All you have to do is leave a comment on each of the participating blogs and tell us what you think about the new release. Last day to enter is Monday 14th midnight EST. The winner will be drawn randomly from one of the participating blogs, one of the days and will be presented on the Prickley Pear Blog on Tuesday.

For my project, I used the new Scalloped Oval Clear Stamp Set and matching Scalloped Oval Die to make a happy card that’s perfect for a wedding, an engagement, or even an anniversary.

Aren’t those lovebirds adorable? I stamped them onto light cream patterned paper and added color with pencils. Cut the image out and layered it onto the new Scalloped Oval Die for the focal point of the card. A bit of foam adhesive between all the layers adds depth and dimension.

The new Scalloped Ovals stamp set has several pretty oval images to choose from. It also includes other designs and sentiments, too.

I used the single flower stamp to stamp a border of flowers across the bottom panel of my card.

Then I stamped the diamond border across the top. Then finally a sentiment was stamped in black ink in the upper right corner.

Hope you are enjoying the hop! Next on the stop is Michelle. And so you don’t miss a thing, here is the full list for all three days.
