With only about a week to go, I have to say that holiday preparations are coming along quite nicely at our house. This weekend, I even accomplished a holiday feat I wasn’t sure I would get around to this year…the “mailable” Christmas card. Such a challenge for me to keep things simple and flat, but I bravely muddled through. Perhaps the key to success was taking only stamps and cardstock to the crop on Saturday, and leaving all the bells and whistles home. Then I could stew all I wanted…..but there was really nothing else I could do. I need to remember that trick again for next year.
Still creating a few holiday gift tags, too, and today I have a cute set of snowman tags on the Sizzix blog to share with you. These are made with the adorable Sizzix/Hero Arts snowman set I was promising you earlier this month and a brand new mini envelope and tag die from the Where Women Cook collection.
The one thing we all need this busy time of year is quick and easy, and these little tags fit the bill. Within a matter of minutes, you can have a whole stack of tags and envelopes cut and assembled. There’s even a pre-cut hole in the envelope for adding a tie. Doesn’t get much easier than that.
