This past weekend, I got a very happy email with some very happy news. And I’m so excited to share it with you!
Seems I have been chosen to be part of Little Yellow Bicycle’s newest cycling team! I’ll be guest designing next month with their adorable Makin’ the Grade collection. How fun, right? I would love it if you all could pop over to the Little Yellow Bicycle blog and cheer me on!
This past weekend was also birthday celebration time for my sweet friend, Kathie. I pulled out my scrappy supplies to make her a fun gift tag to coordinate with her gift bag. Couldn’t resist using the adorable Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection again. I do have such a hard time staying away from this line. 
The tag was inspired by that cute scooter cardstock sticker. I thought it would be fun to have the scooter pulling a birthday banner. So I stamped up a birthday sentiment and created a little scene for my scooter complete with grassy hill and cloudy skies.
Stitched cloud vellum onto the background of the tag and added a “hill” of patterned paper to the bottom. Added ruffled trim to the bottom and wrapped the tag in pink baker’s twine. The little flowers and the glittered cloud are from the Dear Lizzy Flutter line. More oldies but goodies from my stash!
