Hi everyone! So good to be back with you all! I had the most amazing time at the beach this past weekend, and have been having fun hopping with Epiphany Crafts and Echo Park this week, but I’ve been missing you all. Just a couple of days, and already I can’t wait to get back to my routine and my bloggy buddies. It’s nice to take a vacation……..but it sure is nice to get home, too.
Today I have a bit of catch up to do and am sharing the card I made for the Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps blog this week. As you can see, I’m still smitten with the Valentines. For this project, I pulled out some of my favorite kraft goodies from the Kraft Outlet and combined them with the newly released Vine Flourish red rubber image from Prickley Pear to create an oh-so pretty in pink lovey dovey card. I think this card will be perfect for my little sweetie, Missy Nik. I’m hoping she’ll be mine this Valentine’s.
Isn’t that Vine Flourish pretty! So detailed and elegant. And such a fun substitute for a traditional flower stem. I stamped and embossed the vine on a mini kraft envelope for a touch of whimsy and interest. White on kraft is one of my most favorite looks.
Created the rest of the flower with a dimensional cardstock sticker and some leaves punched from dotted paper. Seam binding and hang tag string tie it all together. Threw in some burlap, scallops, and ruffled doily trim, too. A few of my favorite things.
Since I used my Kraft Outlet goodies, I’m sharing my card with this week’s Kraft Journal So Romantic challenge. Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you all a wonderful day.

Audrey…welcome back! Love your valentines day card….magnificent amount of layers and girlie-ness!
What a sweet card! Love the substitution of the embossed swirl for the flower stem–great idea! Glad you had a wonderful retreat–hope you’ll share some photos!

Hi Audrey! I have to SOON make a Valentine card for my sister, who lives far away from me for the time being, and yours certainly is very pretty! I don’t have any of this kraft paper I keep hearing about; but working with what I DO have, I’m still trying to gather up any ideas I can before I get started on one to send to her! Your card is so sweet! I really love it! (I think polkadots and ginghams ALWAYS catch my eye!)… Have a great day! ~tina
