Hi everyone! Happy Friday! Is it just me, or did this week fly by? Sure glad to see the weekend roll around again, but goodness, Christmas is sneaking up so quickly. I still have everything left to do on my holiday To-Do list. If I’m not careful, Christmas will be here before I can even finish putting out all my decorations!
Even though I seem to be moving at the speed of molasses, I have been working on adding festive touches to my home decor. This year, I am pulling out all my usual traditional decorations, but am mixing in a homey feel of natural elements, too.
I’m really enjoying the look of fresh pine boughs in my favorite antique basket. It’s such a quick and easy decoration, and smells so good, too. To add a special extra touch to my arrangement, I created a paper poinsettia to snug in with the greens. Just one flower and a pretty bow makes a big impact on my simple arrangement. Love that!
Used my favorite Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock from the Kraft Outlet and pretty patterned papers from Authentique’s holiday collection. Florist wire, a few buttons, and my Glue Arts glue gun.
The complete supply list and tutorial are up on the Glue Arts blog, along with our very first Glue Arts video tutorial with instructions for creating a rolled-paper Christmas tree canvas that you won’t want to miss. And of course there is a fabulous prize, as well, so I do hope you’ll pop over. And thanks so much for stopping by today! Wishing you all a wonderful day.
