Hey everyone! Look at me finally getting back to my blog! Long time, no see, huh? I have been taking a little break lately, but am getting back in the swing of things again and am excited to share some of my projects that have been building up during my absence. I know I am way behind!
Life is good. Busy, but good. We’ve still got one more month of school to go, and things are getting busy with end of year testing, field days, yearbook signings, awards celebrations, field trips, and upcoming graduations. Both my kiddos will be having large graduations this year. Hard to believe how quickly time flies.
Nik has also started up swim team for the season. She’s got almost nightly practices and weekly meets, so suddenly it feels like we are constantly hopping. Also feels like summer is almost here, and that sure is nice.
Here is the page I did for this week’s Random Chaos blog. The challenge is to use a bird and the colors green and orange. My friend Kathy just recently gave me these newer Making Memories papers and I had fun putting them directly into use. Nothing like some new paper to get yourself motivated, right?
These photos were taken a few years ago at the Rainforest Cafe. What an amazing place. I loved the barstools shaped like animal behinds and the thunderstorms that roll overhead. And of course, who wouldn’t be amazed by all the animatronics?
And here’s my page for the previous challenge, since I’m so far behind. For this one, we were to use flowers, polka dots and two tags.
These photos make me laugh. Look at how short my hair was! Yikes! And look how cute and little my Nik was. This was the summer before she started kindergarten while we were on vacation in California. What great memories we have of this day at the amusement park. Little Nik went from riding the tame merry-go-round ponies to riding the “scariest” roller coaster in the park, all in one day. She sure is a lot braver than I ever was at that age.
Everything on this page came from our May kit from Paper-Playground featuring gorgeous papers, die-cuts, alpha stickers and trim from Webster’s Pages. These kits are still available on the Playground website, if you’d like to take a peek.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Sounds like you are a very a busy MOM!!!!! We took Gavin for allergy testing and that is helping us in the management of his asthma. I was due to go to see the allergy specialist on Fiday, but now I have another infection, so we have to hold off for several more weeks. I am so anxious to see what the allergy testing will reveal…I am having a heck of a time with my sinus’! So glad that you are doing well! Wishing you a great Monday sweet friend!!!
