Hi everyone! As predicted, the rain and gloom have descended upon us again. Just when you think it’s starting to look like spring has finally sprung, you get a reminder that winter is not so easily shed. I think we will see little of the sun for the next 4 or 5 days again. One thing the cold and wet is wonderful for, though, is snuggling up under a blanket with a good book to read. I am now almost finished with book three of the Twilight series. Although it’s awfully “tweenish”, it’s still a fairly entertaining read. Poor Bella with all these boys fighting over her……..
Another thing the rain is good for is staying inside and getting some scrapping done. I’ve been working on some pages for Webster’s and some other projects that I can’t show yet, but I do have my challenge page for the Random Chaos blog to share today. Janelle is cutting back on her current challenges and now will be releasing a new one every other week. More time for you all to play along! The current challenge is to create a page using the colors yellow and orange and some kind of office supply.

Yeah! Honest to goodness pictures of Pete! You know I don’t get those very often. First, he started acting his normal goofy self, but then he did give me one genuine pose….which of course I love to pieces.
I combined papers from MAMBI, Basic Grey, MME and WRMK to create this layout, and also used the chipboard packaging from some MM alpha stickers as the photo matting.

Other supplies include die-cuts, a shooting star transparency and buttons from MME, punched transparency circles from Hambly, and lace paper from KI.

The title was made with a combo of Basic Grey chipboard letters and American Crafts Thickers. I added the date with some MM tiny ledger alphas. The little plastic pointing finger is also American Crafts, and my “office supply” is a binder clip at the top of my layout.
I hope you all get a moment to check out what the other awesome designers did on the Random Chaos blog. And as always, link me up in the comments if you get the chance to play along. I’d love to see what you did!
Have a great day everyone!
Love that title and all the elements you added. Great photos! Isn’t Twilight great, I think I read all 4 books in 9 days.
Twighlight was a bit “youthful” in my opinion, but I read all four, along with my sister and niece, and saw the flick. It was harmless entertainment. Love the pics of Pete and the layout is cool.
Great eye candy, Audrey!!
Rain and gloom here too! Ugh! BUT…our grass is so green now, so YAY!
Love how you put all together… all the little details and elements are amazing. Lovely LO
Audrey your page is great, those colors look so good together! And wonderful pictures of Pete!
I’m so glad you’re enjoying the Twilight Saga! I’m soo addicted even though I’m pushing 30! Getting ready to start reading Twilight for the 3rd time, every time I watch the movie it makes me want to read the book!
