My goodness, how quiet it has become around here. Not much going on, that’s for sure. I have to say that I’m enjoying the peace…….but it doesn’t make for very exciting news. Spent a good part of the day running errands. Boring. Got my allergy shots. Also boring. Hung a few pictures, which wasn’t boring as it became quite the ordeal. My parents insist on “doing things right” which means that the antique pictures that I found several months ago need a thorough take apart and cleaning/restoration work before they can be put back together. And then the engineering involved to get them hung is quite extensive. I’m all for pounding a nail in the wall and calling it done, but that’s just me.
But I have to admit, there’s something to be said for all the hard work, as they look really wonderful now. I got one picture hung in my living room and several things up in Nik’s room, and I can honestly say that her room is finished now. So happy with the end result.
Since I’ve shared some of the highlights of Nik’s Christmas adventures this year, I thought I’d also share a few of Peter’s greatest moments.

I still am so thrilled with the great deal I managed to find on this awesome 21 speed mountain bike. I was so very lucky. Not sure I’d even know how to ride a bike with this many gears…….but that’s another story.
Well, off to hang some more pictures and then maybe get a game of dominos going with my parents. Hope you all are having a wonderful and peaceful day where you are, too. I’ll have some scrappy stuff to share tomorrow. See you all then!
Hi Audrey! I do know you co-own a kit club and I will probably be purchasing one in the next month! Just love all the pretty kits Paper Playground has. I didn’t know you were having such a great sale! I see stars in my eyes when I see the word “sale”! I’ve also looked back over the gallery, such great ideas. I was showing a friend the beautiful kits the other day, we love how they are presented with the paper rolled in a vase.
I had a boring Tuesday also, so don’t feel bad….my excitement for the day was bathing the doggies!
Great bike pictures of your son, I see scrap pages in his future.
Hi Audrey!! Happy New Year!!
What a cutie you have on his bike!! I can’t wait to see you scrap those
HUGS!
Happy New Year beautiful Girl! *hugs* sorry I’ve been scarce… puter probs! bummer
Audrey, love the pics of your son riding his bike! How are the allergy shots coming along. Do you see any change or does it take awhile to work!!!! Wow, sounds like your picture hanging was quite a bit of work, but aren’t you glad Mom and Dad did it the right way!!! You sound like me, put a nail in the wall and hang it!!!! Have a wonderful day, my friend!!!
