Morning everyone! I have to start off this post by sharing the Christmas miracle that happened at our house last night. You will never believe it! Look!
You might not recognize the phenomenon you are looking at. That is my son. Peter. Off the computer. Actually hanging an ornament on the tree. A true miracle, indeed.
Never mind that I had to actually bribe him to do it. I’m thinking that in years to come, when I’m old and my memory is shot even worse than it is now, I’ll truly believe he did this of his own accord. I can just scrap this photo and think back blissfully to this time….and totally ignore these other photos I got from Mr. Attitude right after that first one.
Sigh……..boys……….teenagers………….teenage boys…………’nuff said.
I also have a couple of scrappy projects to share this morning. You guessed it….more goodies from the December Paper-Playground kit. This first project is super simple, quick and easy. I wanted to come up with a pretty, yet time-saving idea to brighten up the holidays.
These gift tags were a snap to make. If anyone is interested in the directions, I have a tutorial up in the Paper-Playground classroom here.
I also have one more card to share.
This card was another quick and easy project. I simply folded one of the Little Yellow Bicycle photo mats in half for the base to this cute card. I also added a touch of ink to the holly leaves of the Kaisercraft wooden flourish. Viola!
Have a great day everyone!

When I read the first few words of your post I knew what the miracle was!!!! and…when the day comes when your mind is in “your world” that picture will be the topic of many conversations!!! But to you it will always be a miracle.
AHAHAHA! that is hysterical! i didn’t even know you had a son! bawawawa!
he looks good in front of the camera! and i loooove the card on the bottle of wine! need my addy???
I don’t know if I realized your had a teenage son either! So glad he helped on his own!
And I love your reindeer creations!
Poor Pete! LOL! I sympathize with you though. All my photo subjects are teens or almost teens and it is so hard to get photos. You can’t keep them little forever. But they were so cute back then and so tolerant of the photo-taking…

Mine is 21 and again happily poses without my asking! (although I did decorate without any help from him again this year.) Remember….boys are small men…they simply cannot help it
