I have another project to share featuring the yummy papers from Webster’s Pages. Made this for a friend of mine who is getting married tomorrow. She’s a young thing…..only just turned 21 years old, and her fiance is 20. I feel like I’ve kinda watched her grow up from when I first met her as a teenager. She makes me feel rather old, but I really have a sense of mother-ish pride, in a way, seeing her get married. I am so happy for her, and wish Kate and Dan the best of luck.
I think Kate will really appreciate this card. Whenever I’ve given her something home-made, she gets so amazed, so HAPPY. She really is a sweet girl.
The background for this card is the front of the Raspberry Truffle paper. Then the next layer is the back side of Spring Rain. The main focal feature uses a combo of Flutterby and Robin’s Nest. All the papers are from the Raspberry Truffle and Feather Your Nest lines of Webster’s Pages. The greeting is from the Sweet Charity rub-ons, also from Webster’s. The ribbon is from Imaginisce.
Wish us all luck tomorrow…..it’s going to be over 100 degrees! Poor sweaty little us in our dress clothes. Poor Kate!
